Kathmandu and Pokhara are the two largest cities and are considered tourist hubs in Nepal. Pokhara is 201 km away, a 25-minute flight from Kathmandu. Pokhara Valley is a land of spectacular beauty crowned by the majestic Himalayas, which conjures visions of calm but vibrant green hills that are loaded with luxuriant vegetation, dotted with shimmering lakes, and surrounded by snowcapped Himalayas.

Upon arrival at the TIA, Kathmandu, meet and greet with our office representative. Then, you will be transferred to the designated hotel. Our representative will escort you to the hotel and assist you with the check-in process. After a short briefing on the trip, the rest of the day is leisure. On the second day, you will start your day with breakfast at the hotel, check out, and drive to the airport. You need to reach the airport 1 hour before your domestic flight. After taking an approximately 25-minute scenic flight, you will reach Pokhara, the city of lakes and gateway to the Himalayas. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the majestic mountains. World Peace Stupa: This spectacular monument, locally known as “Shanti Stupa,” is one of the 8 Peace Pagodas across the world. It was constructed as a symbol of world peace. Situated at a height of 1,100m on Anadu Hill, the area possesses an oasis of peace along the picturesque backdrop of the Annapurna Mountain Range and Pokhara Valley.
Pumdikot Shiva Statue: Statue Pumdikot is one of Nepal’s tallest (108 ft) Lord Shiva statues in Pokhara, located at 1500 m above sea level. You can see a small statue of the deity Ganesh circling the statue, as well as 108 Shiva lingams. The place is also a viewpoint, which offers you a mesmerizing view of Phewa Lake in the middle of Pokhara Valley, where the panoramic view of the giant Himalayas ranges from 6000 to 8000 meters, enhancing its beauty.
Tal Barahi Temple: Tal Barahi Temple, also referred to as Lake Temple or Varahi Temple, is a two-story pagoda temple situated on a small island on Phewa Lake in Pokhara. Dedicated to Goddess Varahi, who is an avatar of Goddess Durga, both Hindu and Buddhist supporters visit here for worship. You will need to take a boat ride to reach the temple.
Phewa Tal: Phewa Tal is the second-largest and most visited lake in Nepal. The lake is one of the freshwater lakes of Pokhara that has an island temple in the centre of the lake, “Tal Barahi.” It is famous for boating and, on a clear day, offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Machhapuchhre and other mountain peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

This morning, wake up early and drive to Sarangkot to witness the gorgeous sunrise view. Sarangkot is a famous sunrise viewpoint that offers the sheer beauty of a boundless view of the Pokhara Valley and the panorama view of the mountain ranges such as Annapurna Massif, Fishtail Mountain, Dhaulagiri Range, and Manaslu. Seize the mesmerizing golden sunrise, casting a radiant glow upon the majestic Annapurna mountain range. The way the sunlight danced upon the snow-capped peaks created a surreal and almost magical spectacle that will leave you in awe.
Returning back, en route, we will visit Bindhabasini Temple. The temple is considered the oldest temple in Pokhara and is dedicated to the goddess Bindhyabasini, a Bhagawati who is the avatar of Kali. Apart from the peace and tranquillity that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offer a good view of the Himalayas.

On the last day, you will visit one of Nepal’s most sacred religious Shiva temples, Pashupatinath. It is Kathmandu’s most visited temple of Lord Shiva. Its main attraction is the unique Shiva Linga, which displays the eight faces of Lord Shiva.
Later, you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for the upcoming onward journey.
