Our first day starts with a meeting at the TIA, Kathmandu, upon arrival by Office Personnel. After your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. After a short relaxation at the hotel, visit one of the Durbar Square in Patan also known as Lalitpur. Then, Swyambhunath Stupa, the golden spire of the 5th century, popularly known as “The Monkey Temple ”.
On the day, you’ll head towards Janakpur. It was the capital of King Janak’s ancient Mithila Kingdom nearly 2000 years ago, where “Goddess Sita” was born. The city is also known as Janakpurdham. Janakpur is 224 km from Kathmandu and is an 8-hour drive approx. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and visit Janaki Temple, one of the most important models of Koiri architecture in Nepal.
Retracing the same path, drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Rest with some leisure time. Take the time to shop and explore the market.
On the last day, you will be visiting one of the most sacred religious Shiva temples in Nepal, Pashupatinath. Later, you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for the upcoming onward journey.
