Itinerary

DAY 01KATHMANDU

Upon arrival at the TIA, Kathmandu– The Capital’s cultural heart, our office representative will meet and greet you transfer you to your designated hotel and assist you with the check-in process. After a short briefing on the trip, the rest of the day is leisure. In the evening, you can stroll around Thamel’s local market, a tourist hub. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING

The day starts with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, and then you will visit one of Nepal’s most sacred religious Shiva temples, Pashupatinath. It is Kathmandu’s most visited temple of Lord Shiva. Its main attraction is the unique Shiva Linga, which displays the eight faces of Lord Shiva

Then, you will visit the holiest shrine of Buddhists and the largest stupa in the world, Bouddhatha. The stupa’s massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and the world. It represents the Tibetan culture in Kathmandu. In the stupa, there are giant pairs of eyes looking out from the four sides, which refer to Buddha’s eyes and the wisdom eyes. These eyes symbolize the all-seeing ability of the Buddha.

Swyambhunath Stupa- The golden spire of the 5th century, also known as “The Monkey Temple” is an ancient religious stupa atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley. The stupa is revered for its ancient spiritual significance, breathtaking views of the valley, and the playful presence of resident monkeys. With its distinctive stupa, prayer flags and serene ambiance, Swayambhunath serves as a symbol of peace and enlightenment in the heart of Kathmandu.

 

Later, visit a UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Site, Patan Durbar Square, which served as the royal palace of the Malla kings, It consists of three different courtyards i.e. Mulchowk, Sundari Chowk, and Keshab Narayan Chowk which is an exquisite example of Nepalese art, culture, and architecture. The square is full of ancient temples and carvings and is full of innumerable pagoda-style temples. One of its attractions is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided.

DAY 03KATHMANDU/ POKHARA

On the 4th day, you will continue your journey to The city of the lake also known as the gateway to the Himalayas. The trip takes you through various tiny villages, terraced fields, infrequent rural towns, different vistas, and grassy hills. If the weather is nice, you’ll be able to see snow-capped mountains straight outside your window. After around 3-4 hours driving from Kathmandu, you will arrive in Pokhara.

Optional with extra cost: En route, you have the option of rafting in the Trishuli River or visiting the Manakamana Temple, “Goddess of Fulfilling Wishes,” where you are taken on a 10-minute cable car ride.

Pokhara, located at the banks of  Phewa Lake, is the Tourism Capital of Nepal. The valley offers beautiful weather, a laid-back atmosphere, colourful markets, sophisticated restaurants, a peaceful lakeside, and spectacular mountain views. One can view the giants of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre from Pokhara. In the evening, one can go for a walk around the lakeside and relax on the shores of Phewa Lake.

DAY 04POKHARA SIGHTSEEING

On the 4th day, Early in the morning, you will visit 

SarangkotSituated at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level, Sarangkot provides a magnificent sunrise view over the grand Himalayas. One can enjoy the immense enhancing scenery and beauties of the entire Pokhara Valley, En route, you will visit 

Bindhyabasini Temple- Considered the oldest temple in Pokhara, Bindhyabasini Temple has become one of the famous pilgrimage destinations for Hindus all over the world. The temple is devoted to the goddess Bindhyabasini. This ancient temple offers not only spiritual solace but also breathtaking views of Pokhara Valley. 

After the visit, You will drive back to the hotel for breakfast following the tour, and then you’ll continue your sightseeing with a visit to 

Devi’s Fall, also known as Patale Chhango. This is because the waterfall disappears into a hole as if it is falling towards Patal Lok (Hell). The water from the Fall reappears a kilometre away on the southern side and merges with a rivulet called Phusre Khola. 

 

Situated just across from Devi’s Fall is Gupteshwor Cave. The cave is the combination of both Devi’s fall in the upstream and cave in the downstream. The cave was discovered in the 16th century and is rumoured to be the longest cave in Nepal with a length that exceeds 2950 meters.

 

Later we will visit The Bat Cave (also known as Chamero Gufa in Nepali). The Cave is one of the major attractions of Pokhara. It is the home to thousands of bats of different species. 

 

Mahendra Cave-  The cave is known for its fascinating natural cavern, limestone formation and intriguing underground chambers. The cave holds cultural significance as it is believed to be a hiding place during times of conflict. It provides a unique underground adventure, providing a break from the external beauty of Pokhara with its own alluring and captivating.

Tal Barahi Temple—also known as Lake Temple. The temple is a blend of spiritual significance with natural beauty, offering visitors a unique and culturally enlightening experience in the beautiful scenic setting of Phewa Lake. As the temple is located on the island of Phewa Lake, boats are available to hire near the lakeside.

Phewa Tal-  Also known as Phewa Lake, is a popular attraction for locals and tourists, providing a lively atmosphere. The lake offers a perfect balance of natural beauty, cultural richness and recreational opportunities.

DAY 05POKHARA/ LUMBINI

Early morning after breakfast, you will drive to Lumbini renowned as the Birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. Lumbini is one of the major attractions of Buddhists and tourists worldwide. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. After a short refreshment, we will head out for sightseeing including 

 

Maya Devi Temple: Also renowned as the Sacred Sanctuary in Lumbini. The temple is marked as the spot where Siddhartha Gautama was born, who later became Buddha. The holy temple and the historic archaeological sites encircle the temple.  The temple holds a tranquil and spiritual ambiance for those who seek Buddhist enlightenment which inspires reflection and devotion.

 

Lumbini Garden: The sacred garden consists of the Marker Stone of Buddha’s birth, the Maya Devi Temple, the Sacred Pond, the Asoka Pillar, and the Bodhi tree.  Strolling through its peaceful pathways, one can absorb the spiritual energy that comes from the bodhi tree and the historical ruins strolling around the tranquil pathways.

 

The rest of the day is leisure. One can stroll around, absorbing the spiritual atmosphere. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 06LUMBINI/ CHITWAN

The day starts with breakfast at the hotel and head to Chitwan– especially renowned for Chitwan National Park and the homeland of the artistic Tharu people.  Chitwan offers you the unique mixture of nature and cultural charm, that makes the destination an ideal destination for wildlife enthusiasts and those seeking an authentic jungle experience.

Evening enjoy the Tharu Cultural Show.

DAY 07CHITWAN/ KATHMANDU

Breakfast at the hotel.  You will be transferred to Chitwan National Park for jungle activities such as Canoeing, Crocodile Conservation Area, Jeep safari, Elephant Breeding Centre, and Bird watching. The canoeing program is done by the narrowboat, which takes you to the inner part of the jungle. You can enjoy a short jungle walk and experience the thrill of the wilderness.  Get your cameras charged to capture pictures of rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, and the near-extinct Gharial crocodiles. Get ready for the thrill and adventure!! Visit the elephant breeding centre; bird watching will be a memory of your lifetime. (After finishing the activities, return to the hotel.)

DAY 08KATHMANDU/ AIRPORT

Breakfast at the hotel, and you will be free until departure. You will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for the upcoming onward trip. Reaching the airport, the trip ends with a memorable cultural and natural experience in Nepal.
